Arrest of volunteer in Minsk probably KGB provocation – Belarusian fighters for Ukraine

The arrest of a Belarusian-born volunteer might have been a provocation of the country’s secret services, the tactical group ‘Belarus’, which unites Belarusian fighters of Ukrainian Volunteer Corps, said on Facebook.

“The tactical group ‘Belarus’ states that all its fighters are at their quarters in Ukraine.

Therefore, the detention in Minsk seems to have been a provocation by the security services to justify the persecution of Belarusians who support Ukrainian people.

We declare that the detainee is not a member of the tactical group ‘Belarus’. We were in contact contacts with the detainee, and the impression was that his behavior was inappropriate. We do not rule out that special services could control him.”
