Ales Barazenka freed from prison after 15 days of arrest


On March 25th, Ales Barazenka was detained by the riot police. Later, the court of the Moscow district of Minsk sentenced him to 15 days in prison for violation of Article 17.1 of the Administrative code (disorderly conduct).

The riot police staff who participated in the hearing as witnesses claimed that Ales Barazenka was cursing and waving his arms when they detained him.

Ales was greeted by colleagues and friends. They were all watched by the people in civilian clothes.

At around 3 pm on Sunday Ales was free.
