Aggression on Homiel streets: You are not Belarusians, but 'banderovtsy' (Video)

Independent journalists were holding a survey on the streets of Homiel, when they were suddenly approached by a woman attracted by the Belarusian and Ukrainian symbols on the bag of the independent correspondents.

Homiel journalists were asking the passers-by, who they will vote for in the upcoming elections. One of the Homiel residents said that she would vote for Lukashenka because “he regularly pays salaries and pensions.” When reporters asked, if the pension or salary she received was high, she replied: “I haven’t earned a pension yet, and I lost my job, I was laid off.”

Meanwhile, the journalists were almost attacked by another woman who was passing by and who did not like the Pahonya and the Ukrainian trident on the bag of one of the correspondents. “You are ‘banderovtsy’ and not Belarusians. You are the real traitors, you were sent here,” the passerby started screaming. She was supported by her two male companions. Representatives of the “russkiy mir” behaved very aggressively, not being ashamed to use vulgar words and Russian obscenities.
