Activist Pavel Syarhei sentenced to 5 more days after spending 7 days in prison

On March 30th, Pavel Syarhei was to be released after spending 7 days in prison for participation in the non-parasite march on March 10th, but the young man was immediately taken to court and sentenced to additional 5 days in prison for disobeying police.

The “Poshuk” activist was detained on March 23rd in Maladzechna. The police came to arrest the man without a subpoena. After a brief “siege” (no electricity and internet), law enforcement officers knocked on the door and asked the activist to go with them. Around 19:00 Pavel was eventually arrested and taken to the police station.
