Hrodna rescuers received an emergency call from the city’s chemical entreprise Grodno Azot on Monday at 12:45 pm, the press service of the Emergencies Ministry reports.
There was a heavy smoke in one of the shops. According to preliminary information, a spark got on hydroxylamine sulfate. Two workers were poisoned to death, two were hospitalized.
The causes of the accident are being investigated. According to the enterprise’s website, it poses no environmental threat.
