According to the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Russia and Belarus have come to an agreement on the renewal of regular air service between Minsk and Moscow only till March 29, 2012. By this day the two sides should settle all the differences.
Air transportation between Minsk and Moscow was stopped morning Monday a.m., Deputy Head of Belavia national air company Ihar Charhinets told journalists. In its turn, Minsk did not accept flights from Moscow.
«A Belavia representative showed a telegram saying Rosaviatsia [the Russian air agency – Belsat] revoked the air operator’s license of Belavia and stopped accomodating Belarusian airplanes,» passenger Ivan Rak, who was to fly to Moscow at 7 a.m. today, said.
By now air flights between Minsk and Moscow have been renewed.
