UE blacklists 16 Belarusian officials


European Commission has listed names of 16 Belarusian officials, whose assets in European banks were frozen and who are banned from entering the EU. The list includes mostly judges and prosecutors who participated in trials against dissidents:

Valery Kamisaraw – a judge in a court in Minsk, who considered appeals of Zmitser Dashkievich, Eduard Lobaw, Aleksander Atroshchankaw, Zmitser Novikov, and Aleksander Molchanov.

Uladzimir Stsapurka – a judge in a court in Minsk, who considered appeals of Iryna Khalip, Syarhey Martsakev, Paval Sevyaryniets, Dzimitr Bandarenka, Zmitser Doronin, Syarhey Kazakov, Uladzimir Lobav, Vitaly Matsukievich, Yawhen Sakret, Aleh Fedarkyevich.

Syarhey Khrypach – a judge in a court in Minsk, who considered appeals of Andrei Sannikov, Mikola Statkievich, Zmitser Vus, Uladzimir Niaklayev, Andrei Dzimitriev, Ilya Vasilyevich, Fiodor Mirzayanev, Aleh Hnedchyk, Uladzimir Yeremenko, Andrei Pazniaka, Aleksander Klaskowsky, Aleksander Kviatkievich, Artiom Hribkov, Zmitr Bulanov.

Vasil Nazaranka – a judge in a court in Minsk, who considered appeal of Vasil Parfyankov; also a member of judicial board who tried Zmitser Dashkievich and Eduard Lobav.

Volha Komarowskaya – a judge in a court in Minsk, who considered appeals of Andrei Sannikov, Iryna Khalip, Syarhey Martselov, Paval Sevyaryniets, Aleksander Atroshchenkov, Zmitser Novikov, Aleksander Molchanov, Ilya Vasilyevich, Fyodar Mirzayanav, Aleh Hnyedchyk, Uladzimir Yeremenko, Zmitser Doronin, Syarhey Kazakow, Uladzimir Laban, Vitaliy Matsukyevich, Yawhen Sakret, Aleh Fedorkyevich.

Viktorya Zaytsava – a judge in a court in Minsk, who considered appeals of Andrei Sannikov, Ilya Vasilyevich, Uladzimir Yeremenko, Fyodar Mirzayanav, , Aleh Hnyedchyk

Tamara Ununkyevich – a judge in a court in Minsk, who considered appeals of Iryna Khalip, Syarhey Martselov, Paval Sevyaryniets.

Ihar Krot– a judge in a court in Minsk, who considered an appeal of Vasil Paryankov.

Uladzmir Hrobostaw – a judge in a court in Minsk, who considered an appeal of Vasil Paryankov.

Ludmila Ihnatovich-Mishnyeva – a prosecutor who participated in appeal court hearing of Zmitser Dashkievich and Eduard Lobav.

Syarhey Yermolitski – a director of a prison camp in Shkolovo, „responsible for inhumane treatment of prisoners, including former presidential candidate Mikołai Statkievich”.

Aleksander Kovaliov – a director of a prison camp in Gorki, „responsible for inhumane treatment of prisoners, especially repressions and torture of Zmitser Dashkievich”.

Uladzimir Paluyan – Minister of Taxes and Fees; his department participated in prosecuting Ales Bialiatski, a human rights defender.

Uladzimir Kornaw a judge in a Minsk court who dismissed motion to release Ales Bialiatski pending trial.

Maksim Shestyakov – a prosecutor who participated in considering a motion to release Ales Bialiatski pending trial.

Volha Herasimovich – a prosecutor, who participated in considering a motion to release Ales Bialiatski pending trial.

The list of Belarusian officials, who are banned from entering the EU, has now 208 names, and includes Aleksander Lukashenka, his two older sons – Viktar and Zmitser, as well as the chairwomen of the Central Election Commission of Belarus, Lidia Yermoshina.
