Andrzej Wajda delivers his message to the political prisoners in Belarus

Belsat TV is running a “Solidarity with the political prisoners in Belarus” campaign. More than 30 well-known people from Belarus, Poland and other countries will appear in short video clips, stating their message to the Belorussian prisoners of conscience. Today’s clip features Andrzej Wajda, director awarded with Oscar.

He is addressing Andrey Protasienia, who served as a volunteer for presidential campaign of Jaroslaw Romanczuk. Arrested during the December 19th demonstration, charged with active participation in mass social unrest, he was sentenced to three years of a prison camp.
