Lukashenko convinced Nazarbayev and Putin to meet Poroshenko


Presidents of ex USSR countries could meet in Minsk and talk mainly on economic issues.

First problem to be discussed is Association Agreement with the EU signed by Ukraine. “It makes us nervous and we are afraid that goods at zero customs duty would entered Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan and strangle our economy” – Belta agency quotes Lukashenko.

The second issue to be discussed is the Russian embargo on food imports from certain countries.

I told my colleagues – let’s propose Petro Poroshenko to join the discussion, if he wants. We need to discuss these issues quickly because anyway we can not hide from them. It is especially important for Ukraine in a situation where Russia is slowly limit access of certain goods from Ukraine “. – said Lukashenka.

The Belarusian president said that recently he has twice held talks with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayevand Vladimir Putin. According to him they didn;’t show any objections towards his initiative. Aleksandr Lukashenka informed also that the day before yesterday he talked with Petro Poroshenko. However he did not informed of the outcome of these talks.

Lukashenko invited also to the talks the representatives of the USA and the EU.
