In anticipation of the Championship the capital of Belarus is in a pre-holiday fuss: hotel staff are getting ready to do their best taking guests in.
But some hotels are unlikely to open their doors to fans: the construction of Kempinski hotel won’t have been finished by the event, Minsk mayor Mikalai Ladutska said.

But the main problem is that Minsk can’t boast of abundance of economy class rooms: it has only 11 hostels (up to 500 beds). To solve the problem of accomodation, Minsk authorities are going to lodge foreign tourists in 12 student hostels which are to be converted to the fan village.
